Yes! GermanGenie is completely free to download on both iOS and Android. You can access all A1 content, basic flashcards, and daily streak features for free. Premium unlocks all levels (A1–C1), unlimited AI chat, and ad-free learning.

GermanGenie covers all six standard CEFR levels: A1 (Beginner), A2 (Elementary), B1 (Intermediate), B2 (Upper-Intermediate), C1 (Advanced), and C2 content is being added. Each level has dedicated vocabulary, grammar lessons, and exercises.

Our AI tutor is powered by GPT (Azure OpenAI). You type messages in German, and the AI responds naturally, corrects your grammar, and explains mistakes in your native language. It's like having a patient German tutor available 24/7.

Absolutely. The app tracks your daily streak, XP earned, vocabulary mastered, lessons completed, and weekly consistency. You get visual progress charts and achievement badges as you hit milestones.

You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime directly through your device:

You keep Premium access until the end of your billing period.

Some content like downloaded flashcard decks works offline. AI chat and syncing require an internet connection. We're working to expand offline capabilities in future updates.

The app supports English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Italian, and Chinese as interface languages. German explanations are given in your chosen native language to help you learn more effectively.
